If you are planning for your next corporate staff retreat, below are the questions worth responding?

  • What is your budget?
    • Do you have one? Without any, your planning may take you around the world and back where you are.
    • First consider travel cost (flight, coach, ferry), then hotel, the F&B and activities
    • Use previous year events as a benchmark
    • Seek confirmation from your management so as avoiding putting too much work into non-practical solutions
  • What are your transport constraints?
    • How many of the participants can travel together? Use the same plane/coach?
    • Where will the participants come from physically? Do you need to plan specific pickups or transfers?
    • If you consider travelling by plane, have you check the available flight leading to your potential destination
  • What would you like to achieve out of your retreat?
